Tatjana Romig
Journalism & Strategic Communication
I research, shape and tell stories — for media, organizations, and international audiences.
I am a Berlin-based journalist and communications professional, specializing in international affairs, East Asia and complex topics.
With a background in journalism and international communication, I help organizations and individuals turn ideas, expertise and information into compelling and engaging stories.
Having lived and worked in East Asia for multiple years, I bring an international perspective to my work — while staying curious about stories and projects closer to home.

- Research and editorial development
- Reporting on East Asia and international affairs
I also write the Substack, Domestic Correspondent, where I write — equally delighted and exhausted — about life with my toddler, work, and family life.
